Analog Reliability: Install, Program, and Forget
The timer clock is the heart of the pool. If it fails, filtration stops, and the water spoils in a matter of days. Many standard clocks fail for two reasons: they lose time after a power cut or their internal contacts "stick" due to the pump's power.
This model is built to offer long-term peace of mind.
The Advantage of the Power Reserve
Has it ever happened to you that after a storm the pump turns on at 3 AM instead of 10 AM? That happens with clocks without a battery.
This model incorporates a 100-hour power reserve. If there is a blackout, the internal motor keeps turning. When the power comes back, your pool remains perfectly synchronized.
Easy to Use (Tab System)
Sometimes technology complicates things. For a pool, classic is best:
- Clear and readable 24-hour dial.
- Each tab equals 15 minutes of operation.
- Front manual switch with 3 positions: ON (Fixed on for cleaning the bottom), AUTO (Programmed), and OFF (Winter shutdown).
⚠️ Expert tip to avoid burning out the timer
Although this timer supports loads of up to 16 Amps, pool motors have a very strong "startup spike" that wears out any timer over time.
Our professional recommendation:
For a more reliable installation, use this timer to activate a Contactor, and let the contactor start the pump. This way, the timer never suffers the motor load and will last a lifetime. (Check our Modular Contactors section if you need one).
