                  Covers, thermal blankets or covers are the ideal solution to extend the swimming season and save important amounts of money on chemical products, water, electricity and maintenance.

                  Tips for the correct use of the thermal blanket for your swimming pool

                  Although using and installing a pool heating blanket is an extremely simple and quick task, it is important to take into account some recommendations to make the most of its features.

                  These are detailed below:

                  • Store your heating blanket by covering it with an opaque protective cover and, if possible, on its own reel.
                  • If you don't have a roll-up, it is best to roll up the tarpaulin without folding it and store it in a dark place.
                  • Do not place the cover in direct sunlight out of the water. Do not leave it rolled up in the sun either, as this can damage the life of the cover. If you need to leave it in the sun, use a reflective cover over the blanket to protect it.
                  • When placing it on the surface of the water, make sure that the bubble side is in contact with the water, while the smooth side is facing upwards.
                  • After a chlorination treatment, the thermal cover should not be placed in contact with the water for at least 48 hours. This will prevent the bubbles from deteriorating. Taking all these tips into account will not only allow you to get the most out of your pool cover's features, but will also significantly extend its service life.
