The cover is made from good material and i imagine it will last a long time, it may protect the pool cover from uv rays but it just intensifies the heat going through to the thermal blanket. The temperature inside will burn your hand if you touch it and i don't think it will take too long to destroy the thermal blanket. It would probably work better if it was white to deflect the heat from the sun. The delivery time was excellent and it was well packaged.
